The Way Recovery Houses

About The Way

Who We Are

The Way Recovery Houses is a Non-Profit in Lancaster and York counties that looks beyond circumstances to provide the help needed in our community. Our hope is that each of our residents will see past the scars they have received to receive the healing that God provides. Our mission is to provide hope through structure, stability, and support.

We take a unique approach by intentionally partnering with the local Church in order to provide each resident with a support system, with individual discipleship, and other resources. But most of all we seek to provide an inclusive, life-giving environment for our residents to integrate into that helps foster their recovery process.

STRUCTURE, YET SPACE

The phases of our program have a fundamental core of commitment to provide direction, instruction, accountability, support, and guidance. While we do not shy away from the structure and guardrails that are needed for success, our program does have space for flexibility of pacing. Our philosophy of recovery at The Way allows residents to take each step when they are ready to move forward.

We integrate multiple disciplines, while maintaining a Biblical foundation. This is done through weekly groups, Bible studies and building relationships. We believe this relational approach aids in our residents’ healing.

At The Way Recovery Houses, we support participation in recovery mutual aid fellowships in 12-step programs that offer a Biblical approach to recovery.

Our team is equipped to create and provide:

  • In-House Small Groups

  • 12-Step Spiritual Recovery Groups

  • Local Church Services and Events
